The Harvard Square complex includes 225 units (41 independent living apartments, 144 assisted living apartments, and 40 memory care beds). In independent living, there are studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments, all of which have full kitchens. In assisted living, there are studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments, all of which have kitchenettes. In memory care, there are private and semi-private rooms.
In assisted living, in addition to the base cost, there’s an additional fee for care. Because there are four levels of care in assisted living, you never have to pay for more than what you need.
Harvard Square Retirement Community has a wide range of amenities, including a library, hair salon, billiards room, sports lounge, whirlpool, and spa room, bistro café, and fitness room (with personal trainers on-site). Harvard Square also has access to Babi Yar Park, a Living Holocaust Memorial on 27 acres with walking trails.
There is never a shortage of activities at Harvard Square. At least one activity per day is offered, and usually more. There are “Watermark University” classes on a range of subjects, as well as entertainment, activities, and outings (including some overnight trips). Jewish services, Catholic services, and non-denominational services are held weekly.
