Meals made from scratch…breakfast cooked to order…outdoor sitting areas…pets allowed…private rooms and baths…caring and attentive staff…these are just part of what make Family Assisted Living an excellent option for seniors who prefer a smaller facility setting.
Family Assisted Living has homes in Lakewood and Arvada, each of which can accommodate up to eight residents in a “board and care” environment.
Also known as a “residential care facility,” Family Assisted Living has a high ratio of staff to residents, which allows them to provide personalized and attentive care. The owners (a dynamic husband and wife team) are involved in the homes on a daily basis. One of the qualities that distinguishes this assisted living home is that the caregivers tend to stay longer – in part because the owners are providing care and working alongside them.
At Family Assisted Living, the room options include: shared rooms and baths, private rooms with shared baths, and private rooms with private baths.
Family Assisted Living has regularly scheduled activities (such as current events discussions, games, and arts and crafts), as well as regular visits from hairdressers, toe nail nurses and a general physician.
Assistance with medications, memory care and incontinence care are provided at both of Family Assisted Living’s homes, and home health care services and hospice care can be brought in.
Please note: Family Assisted Living doesn’t accept Medicaid.
