Sunrise Assisted Living at Cherry Creek is almost equal parts assisted living and memory care, with 36 apartments in assisted living and 47 apartments in a separate memory care “neighborhood.” Sunrise has two full-time staff members who are dedicated exclusively to activities, and there are at least eight activities per day for residents.
Activities include outings, music, arts and entertainment, and educational and fitness classes. Special memory care activities include group participation for brain exercises and physical exercise.
Built in 2000, Sunrise Senior Living at Cherry Creek underwent a complete refresh in 2019. In assisted living and memory care, there are studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments available (with shared or private bathrooms).
Sunrise has 24-hour staffing, with nurses on site who can perform some skilled nursing services. In addition, staff members can perform 2-person lifts and/or use mechanical lifts for residents who need help getting up and around.
