At Bonaventure of Castle Rock, there’s no shortage of activities and outings, with 14-16 choices per day, arranged, in part, with input from residents. Happy hours and live performances are among the residents’ favorite activities, but there’s something for everyone’s taste. From exercise classes to arts and crafts, trivial pursuit to cooking classes, the calendar is full each month. Because many of the residents have children, and grandchildren who live nearby, family events are included in the slate of choices.
Built in 2013, Bonaventure has a total of 162 units, with 89 independent living apartments, 55 assisted living apartments, and 18 memory care apartments (which are located in a separate, secured environment).
There are 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments (with full kitchens) in independent living, as well as 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments (with kitchenettes) in assisted living. No long-term leases are required – even in independent living. All lease terms are month-to-month.
One meal per day is included in the monthly fee for independent living (with the option to purchase additional meals), and three meals per day are included in assisted living and memory care. Residents in independent living and assisted living share meals, and activities together.
The community and grounds at Bonaventure have spacious layouts, and there’s a full-service beauty salon, library, movie theater, billiards room, and large garden on the property.
Pets are welcome at Bonaventure. Cats, dogs, and birds are allowed, up to two pets per apartment.
Bonaventure offers respite care, including respite care in memory care, for a per-day fee.
