There’s a ¼ mile walking path, outdoor bocce courts, BBQ areas, an outdoor fireplace, an exercise room, a movie theater, a hair salon, and even outdoor dining. Activities at the Village at Belmar include happy hours, fitness classes, weekly trips to the grocery store and library, Bingo, Bridge club, live music and three or four outings per week.
The latest technology that’s available at the Village at Belmar includes virtual reality headsets, interactive video learning systems, and Bluetooth headphones that amplify sounds. In assisted living and memory care, innovations have been incorporated into the building, such as “Quiet Care Monitoring,” which helps facilitate more personalized care.
Built in 2017, the Village at Belmar community includes 156 units (60 in independent living, 72 in assisted living, and 24 in memory care). In independent living, there are two-bedroom flats, with full gourmet kitchens and private garages and decks. In Assisted Living and Memory Care, there are studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom options, all of which have kitchenettes.
Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy are available on-site, and there’s also nursing coverage available 16 hours per day.
