The owners opened their first residential care home for their own family, and they continue to care for residents as if they were family. The administrators of Colorado Assisted Living has a combined 40 years experience in the senior care industry and are very hands-on in the homes. The caregivers are dedicated and stable and many of them have been with Colorado Assisted Living for more than 10 years.
Three meals per day are provided, plus snacks. Breakfast is cooked to order, and lunch and dinner are home-cooked meals, approved by a dietician.
Private and shared rooms are available, with private and shared bathrooms.
More so than many other residential care homes, Colorado Assisted Living provides activities for residents, ranging from sing-alongs to exercise programs, arts and crafts to backyard golf, ice cream socials to trips to nearby restaurants.
The Colorado Assisted Living homes aren’t secured environments. But memory care, integrated into daily activities, is provided for residents who need it.
Smoking is permitted at Colorado Assisted Living, in outdoor, designated areas. Residents are allowed to have pets (with an assessment), and pet therapy animals come for visits.
A hairdresser, medical provider, podiatrist, dentist, and massage therapist come to the homes on a weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis.
