Tender Care Assisted Living has three residential care homes in Denver, all of which are owned by a practicing critical care nurse who is actively involved and serves as a “case manager” for all of the residents. His passion for helping people sets the tone for all of the staff, who provide heartfelt and personalized care for each resident.
The Tender Care “board and care facilities” each have nine or ten residents in them, with two staff members in each home throughout the day and one at night.
All of the rooms are private rooms, and many have private bathrooms. Other private rooms have shared bathrooms. Each of the residential care homes has a large backyard, with flowers and covered seating areas.
Weekly activities are scheduled for residents at Tender Care, including activities with children, music performances, Bingo, cards, and arts and crafts.
A doctor, dentist, podiatrist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and hairdresser all come into the Tender Care Assisted Living homes on a regular basis.
The monthly fee for residents includes not only assistance with medication and incontinence care, but also includes memory care, which can be integrated into the day-to-day care for residents who need it. Tender Care is a great option for seniors who are looking for a smaller assisted living setting.
Dogs and birds are allowed at the Tender Care homes.
Please make note: Tender Care Assisted Living doesn’t accept Medicaid.
